The changing trend of communication interfaces in the IoT industry

- Sep 26, 2018 -

Formerly RS485, CAN, USB as the mainstream communication interface, is now turning to Ethernet, Industrial Ethernet as the mainstream. Bluetooth, WiFi also provides a good solution for short-distance communication; GPRS, LoRa, NB-IoT technology, as the backbone of the long-range wireless communication, is being popularized; the commercialization of 5G technology is just about to be used.

All this is promoting the accelerated development of the Internet of things. In the process of communication interface and communication protocol updating, the problem of incompatible communication between new and old equipment is highlighted, and the problem of resolving protocol conversion and interface adaptation is closely followed.
