Get instant network connectivity with the Meizo R68E Series 4G Ethernet Router; just activate the built-in modem and go. Ideal for deployment as a primary connection solution where wired Internet is not available. It also supports traditional wired data networks like DSL or Cable for maximum network flexibility.
Increase your Internet availability and ensure maximum uptime with business continuity features like failover/failback standard in the R68 Series. When configured, the router detects network failures and seamlessly switches over to another active connected data source – keeping your network online.
The router also provides secure and reliable VPN functionality, allowing users to create, manage, and terminate up to five concurrent IPSec, PPTP, L2TP or GRE VPN sessions. It allows for secure access to company networks for enterprise applications and provides a secure way to transmit sensitive data to and from a remote site.

Smart Water
Indiana American Water has filed a petition with the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission to increase its tariffs to recover funds directed towards modernising water distribution networks.
The utility wants to recover $542 million invested in maintaining and enhancing services, water quality, system reliability and fire protection capabilities.
The utility says the investments made will help keep consumer water tariffs affordable.
If approved, rates will increase in phased approaches, by 8.22% in July 2019, and by 8.57% in July 2020.
Typical residential consumers will see a $5.60 increase in their monthly bill or 18 cents per day from August 1, 2018.
Monthly bills for customers using 4,000 gallons of water per month will increase by 16% in July 2020 following a 4.4% decrease in August owing to the federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.
Indiana American Water President Deborah Dewey. “These investments are critical to the public’s health and safety and the economic health of the communities we serve and will also contribute to the creation of nearly 9,000 jobs across the state.
“We have also worked hard to hold our operating and maintenance expenses relatively flat by implementing efficiencies and leveraging technology and innovation throughout the workplace,” said Dewey. “Our O&M expenses have risen at a rate below the inflation rate over the last decade. Our successes represent more than $10 million of savings for our customers over what our expenses would have been if allowed to grow with inflation".
A 2016 study by the Indiana Finance Authority states the region requires more than $2.3 billion in infrastructure needs for drinking water systems and an additional $815 million to maintain the systems into the future.
Solvera Lynx offered a modern and innovative solution for smart energy management based on wireless LoRaWAN technology. The approach was truly a game changer in the industry. It made deploying challenging, previously cost-prohibitive energy management projects, possible due to a focus on energy saving instead of investing in a wired communication network. Long range and unique penetration capabilities, flexibility, easy operation and maintenance, safe and reliable data transfer made LoRaWAN technology an obvious choice.
“Using LoRaWAN devices from Solvera Lynx allowed us to focus on the energy-saving potential of the project instead of the cabling,” confirms Gabrijelcic.
Transmission of the data was done using the Solvera ComBox.L communication equipment, which has a long battery life and is suitable for the harsh industrial environment. In total 36 ComBox certified devices were installed, 11 of which are for gas metering, 10 are for water metering, five for compressed air, and 10 are used for electricity meters. The data is gathered and analysed by advanced software platform GemaLogic. The solution provides an opportunity for companies to save time and money by choosing a custom-made energy management solution to optimise and reduce energy consumption, provide the highest level of safety and efficiency for their operations and adapt their infrastructure to the new environmental regulations.
